What is Citrus Tree?

Citrus trees are trees that contain fruit, however, all trees that bear fruit are not necessarily fruit trees. Citrus refers to the shrubs or trees of the family Rutaceae. The fragrant variety of citrus we mostly see is the varieties of Oranges, Lemons, Limes,  Grapefruit, etc.

Citrus Tree Spray Company

Citrus Trees do not tolerate high heat very well and it can be a natural stress point for them during this time. For that reason, the cooler months of fall and winter are most ideal when treating citrus trees.

With our Imperial Citrus tree spray program, we typically try to avoid the overuse of insecticides and fungicides on your citrus trees. Fruit readily absorbs insecticides and fungicides, for that reason, edible fruit that is consumed regularly, in our opinion should be kept to a minimum with pesticide use. With our Citrus tree programs, we inspect for insects and diseases.  Primarily Mites, Leaf Miners, Scale, Aphids, Sooty Mold, mealybugs, etc.  At that point upon confirmation of insect activity, is when we will add the appropriate products to address those concerns.

Our "Imperial Green" Citrus Tree Spray service program is also environmentally friendly and is customized to all our clients specific Citrus Tree needs. Our citrus tree service includes but is not limited to:

  • Inspection of Citrus Trees before treatments
